The CCSSW Program

The next immersion cohort is October 2026

How is CCSSWP Different?

CSSWP (“The Program”) is strictly a clinical program! Students do not receive a certificate. Instead, our students are working towards a CCSSW designation – which will become a nationally recognized designation in the sports world.

The Sport Licensed Social Worker SPLSW/Athlete Clinical Mental Health (ACMH) designation will foster great trust and hopefully lead to greater employment possibilities in the sports industry.

This program is for licensed or provisionally licensed social workers only. This is a clinical initiative. CCSSWP is taught by all social work faculty except for one faculty member.

Become A Sports Licensed Social Worker (SPLSW)

Students will be required to matriculate through 7 one week synchronous and asynchronous courses that include two 90-minute virtual meetings (evening) and one asynchronous video per week.

After completing our rigorous program, that is the equivalent of a one gradate course participants will be eligible for up to 31 CEU's - provided they complete all coursework/assignments.

Upon passing the athlete clinical mental health exam, licensed social workers will be designated as SPLSW

Tuition

The tuition fee of $5,600 includes the 12 synchronous courses, six electives,  preparation for the certifying exam, exam fee*, and the certificate.

Participants will receive 54 CEU’s for completing the CCSSWP.

*Tuition covers first exam only. Participants may take the exam more than once but must pay the exam fee after the first time.
